Safari Overview
Explore Namibia’s beautiful sunshine, scenic beauty, and endless open spaces. We visit the rust-red dunes and grass plains of the Namib Desert before heading to Swakopmund, the historical architecture coastal town, where desert sands meet the sea at the coast.
Explore the ancient rock art of the “White Lady” at the highest mountain in Namibia, Brandberg Mountain. We meet the tribe of the Himba tribe near Kamanjab and learn more about their history and culture.
Game Drive in Etosha National Park and its popular floodlit waterholes to view nocturnal animals and ending our tour on the top of the Waterberg Plateau, rising about 200m above the surrounding plains.

Transport
- Transport for 2 - 3 clients will be in 4x4 Toyota Cruiser.

Day 1 - Windhoek to Namib Naukluft
Our starting point will be 8h00 at Arebbusch Travel Lodge, from here we will head towards the Namib Naukluft Park, travelling over the Khomas Hochland and down the steep gradients of the Gamsberg Pass, sometimes called as “Namibia’s Garden Route”. We should begin to see the first of our game species like springbok, ostrich and oryx. We stop at Solitaire, where the world’s famous apple pie is a definite try after lunch. We spend 2 nights on the outskirts of the Park on a Guest Farm with spectacular view to watch the sunset with a sun downer.

Day 2 - Dune 45 & Sossusvlei
Pre-dawn we depart to the entrance gates to Sossusvlei. We have some nice opportunities to stop on the way next to the road for beautiful photographic moments capturing the sunrise on the Dunes. A climb up the sand dunes will give a superb view up and down of the Tsauchab River Canyon which forms the valley between the famous sand dunes. Your guide will set up breakfast and prepare coffee at the bottom of the dune. After breakfast we take a short drive to the parking lot where you will undertake a 2 hour walk through to the beautiful Hiddenvlei in the Sossusvlei Area. We stop for lunch at Sesriem camp, after which we will go and explore the Sesriem Canyon by foot, before heading back to our Guest Farm

Day 3 - Namib Naukluft to Coastal town of Swakopmund
Some scientists regard the Namib Desert as the oldest in the world. We will travel via the Kuiseb Canyon, home to two Germans and their dog for two years during World War 2. We include a visit to the Walvis Bay lagoon, famous for its large numbers of flamingos. It’s a 5-hour scenic drive to the coast, arriving in Swakopmund for the next 2 nights.

Day 4 - Swakopmund
Today is a free day to enjoy all that this coastal town has to offer – from many optional adventure activities like Quad biking, Sand boarding, Sky Diving or relax on a Dolphin Cruise.
If you do not feel adventurous you can visit the historical museum at the base of the lighthouse, visit the Kristall Galerie, home of the world’s largest Quartz crystals cluster in display, or do shopping at numerous shops and enjoy German patisseries at local cafes, all withing walking distance to the center of Swakopmund from your hotel.

Day 5 - SWAKOPMUND TO BRANDBERG
After a relaxing start we leave the cool breeze of the Atlantic Ocean behind and head inland towards Namibia’s highest mountain, Brandberg. It has one of the richest collections of rock paintings in the world (more than 43 000), best known of which is the famous White Lady frieze. The paintings were executed in and overhang in the Tsisab Ravine on the north-eastern side of the mounting and were discovered in 1917. Depends on the weather we will either visit this White lady late afternoon or early the next morning.

Day 6 - BRANDBERG TO KAMANJAB
After breakfast, we travel to the town of Kamanjab, stopping briefly to see the Petrified Forest (wood that fossilized into stone 260 million years ago) and the oldest plants in the world, Welwitchia mirabilis. We stay overnight nearby a village of the last traditional tribe in Namibia, the Ova-Himba, thus we will have the opportunity to visit the tribe for in depth insight into the lives, an amazing photographic opportunity.

Day 7 - KAMANJAB TO ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
We head towards Etosha National Park for 2 days of game viewing. Covering 22,270km, Etosha stretches for about 300km from west to east and 110km from north to south at its widest point. Our overnight stop in Etosha will be either at Okaukuejo or Halali, both with a floodlit waterhole allows for 24-hour game viewing. Elephant and black rhinoceros are seen daily during the dry winter months & numerous other game species are also found here, including lion and leopard.

Day 8 - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Game driving slowly through the park we gaze in awe at the vast expanse of the Etosha Pan, itself shimmering in the midday heat. Ostriches appear like moving black dots as they wander around miles out on the salt pan. The diversity of habitats attracts a wide variety of birds and to date about 392 species have been recorded.

Day 9 - Etosha National Park to Waterberg Plateau
On our journey to the Waterberg Plateau Park, we will visit the non-profit organization of the Cheetah Conservation Funds, learning more about this fascinating creature and how the organization is helping the cheetah in its natural way. Waterberg Plateau Park has been set aside for the breeding of rare animal species such as the white and black rhino, sable and roan antelope and the endangered cape vulture. Afternoon walk up the Plateau will give us fascinating views of the region.

Day 10 - Waterberg back to Windhoek
